LAREDO, Texas – Evans Transportation, a full-service, third-party provider of custom logistics solutions for a diverse range of North American shippers, has opened its first office in Laredo, Texas. Strategically located in the heart of one of the busiest U.S.-Mexico trade gateways, the new office strengthens Evans’ cross-border capabilities and marks its first physical presence in the region. The physical expansion comes one year after the company introduced its service offering in Mexico.

The Laredo location serves as a hub for cross-border operations, enabling Evans Transportation to provide enhanced logistics solutions such as flatbed/oversize freight, dry van, intermodal, transloading, warehousing and full supply chain management. With localized expertise, faster response times and tailored services, the office is well-positioned to meet growing demands of U.S. and Mexico trade and continue to deliver the Evans Experience to its customers.

“We are excited to expand our footprint in Laredo – the largest port in North America,” said Charles Miller, Chief Commercial Officer. “This new office underscores our commitment to delivering exceptional service to our clients and their suppliers by providing specialized support for Mexico and cross-border transportation. We look forward to fostering strong partnerships and providing additional logistical services for our clients and their suppliers.”

The office is staffed by a dedicated team of logistics professionals with deep experience in U.S.-Mexico freight movement. Through a combination of advanced technology, on-the-ground expertise and strategic partnerships, Evans Transportation is focused on optimizing supply chains, reducing transit times and ensuring full compliance with international trade regulations. “We’re incredibly proud of our rapidly growing team and their impact on our clients' needs,” said Marcelo Baptista, VP of Mexico Operations. “We began this journey a year ago and it’s already making a tremendous impact.”

The opening of the Laredo office marks a significant milestone in Evans Transportation’s growth strategy, reinforcing its position as a trusted partner in the logistics industry. The company remains committed to delivering innovative, reliable and customer-focused solutions to meet the evolving needs of its clients.
